Private Family Report
A Family Report is a comprehensive, independent assessment of the family situation that assists the Court in making long-term orders for the child. The report considers the family’s circumstances and the child’s relationship with their parents or significant caregivers, explores issues relevant to the family, and recommends care arrangements that will best meet the child's needs and support its development and well-being.
Private Child Impact Reports
A Child Impact Report is a preliminary and limited assessment intended to assist the Court in making short-term orders. It helps the Court understand the family’s circumstances, focusing on the child’s experience. It can also help all the parties involved reach an agreement.
